TERMS OF SERVICE
Terms of Service
Last updated: 19 August 2026
These terms govern your use of the Robust Network (Pty) Ltd website and set out the general basis on which we provide procurement, supply, logistics and runner services. By using this website or engaging our services, you accept these terms. Some engagements, such as tenders and framework agreements, have their own written terms. Where those differ from these general terms, the written terms apply.
About us
Robust Network (Pty) Ltd is a procurement, supply, logistics and support services company registered in Botswana, operating from Gaborone with a sourcing office in Johannesburg, South Africa. We serve organisations across Botswana and Southern Africa.
Quotations and orders
- Information on this website is an invitation to do business, not a binding offer. Product availability, specifications and pricing are confirmed at quotation stage.
- Quotations are valid for the period stated on the quotation. If no period is stated, a quotation is valid for 14 days.
- An order becomes binding when we confirm it in writing (including by email or WhatsApp) after receiving your acceptance of a quotation.
- Prices may be affected by exchange-rate movements, supplier price changes, duties and levies arising between quotation and delivery. Where a change is material, we will notify you and agree the way forward before proceeding.
Payment
- Payment terms are stated on the quotation or invoice. Unless agreed otherwise in writing, sourced goods may require a deposit or full prepayment before procurement begins.
- Ownership of goods passes to you on payment in full; risk passes on delivery.
- Overdue amounts may attract interest at the maximum rate permitted by law, and we may suspend further work until outstanding amounts are settled.
Sourcing and supply
- We source goods from third-party manufacturers and suppliers. Goods carry the manufacturer’s or supplier’s warranty, which we will pass on to you where the warranty allows.
- You are responsible for ensuring that specifications you provide are accurate and complete. Goods procured to your specification are supplied on that basis.
- Please inspect goods on delivery and notify us of shortages, damage or discrepancies within 48 hours of receipt. We will work with you and the supplier to resolve legitimate claims.
- Goods procured to order or to specification cannot be returned for change of mind.
Delivery and cross-border services
- Delivery dates are estimates given in good faith. Border operations, customs inspections and supplier delays can affect them. We will tell you about any material delay.
- For cross-border consignments, you must provide accurate consignee, address and (where applicable) import documentation. Duties, taxes and levies imposed by customs authorities are for your account unless quoted otherwise.
- We do not carry cash, illegal goods, dangerous goods, or items whose import or export is restricted without the required permits. We may refuse any consignment that presents a legal or safety risk.
Runner services
- Our runner service covers sourcing, collection and delivery of goods on agreed corridors, currently Johannesburg to Gaborone and Gaborone to Maseru.
- Each runner engagement is confirmed per consignment with the price, collection details and expected delivery window agreed in advance, typically via WhatsApp.
- You are responsible for the legality of the goods you ask us to purchase or carry and for the accuracy of purchase instructions. Amounts we disburse on your behalf (purchase price, duties, fees) are repayable in full in addition to our service fee.
Liability
- We are responsible for goods while they are in our care.
- To the extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim arising from a supply or consignment is limited to the value of that supply or consignment, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss such as loss of profit or business interruption.
- Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.
Force majeure
Neither party is liable for failure to perform caused by events beyond its reasonable control, including border closures, industrial action, civil unrest, natural disasters or acts of government. The affected party must notify the other promptly and take reasonable steps to limit the impact.

Privacy
How we handle personal information is described in our Privacy Policy.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The version published on this page at the time you place an order applies to that order.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Botswana, and the courts of Botswana have jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them, unless a written agreement between us provides otherwise.
